I love infographics because they convey complex data in a visually-compelling way. The visuals draw in the viewer much more quickly than reading a dull report and help them retain the key points much better than just reading text.

I was excited to create an infographic about electric cars since this is such an important topic given the world’s current climate change challenges and goals.

I learned a lot about electric cars in the process of creating this infographic and it definitely makes me want to get one! I knew 2020 was expected to be a big year for the industry — diving into the topic more and actually seeing the huge range of options available now and expected next year was really exciting.

Here are close ups of the data components included in the infographic. It was important that the data come from reliable sources and I found that the US Department of Energy and the US Environmental Protection Agency both provide great information.
