Housing Innovation Event
Save the Date
Working on this project was really fun (and fast)! Fannie Mae wanted to improve their original save-the-date design and was open to new ideas. The “InnovateHousing” event they were hosting was focused on how technology can shape the future of affordable housing — an interesting topic that I wasn’t familiar with before.
In addition to the recommended design, I also included an alternate, more conservative, option (below). It evokes the role technology plays to create housing in a flexible and adaptable manner.
I am glad the client preferred the recommended design! This design is a little more modern and hip to appeal to the Silicon Valley professionals invited. It conveys how technology — such as virtual reality — is playing a critical part in the future of affordable housing. It also provides a nod to the much-loved street art in San Francisco and inspiration for creative building options.
